Vivian Takafuji, PhD, LAc, Dipl OM, MMQ is an acupuncturist and Chinese herbalist. She earned her Master of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine degree from Southwest Acupuncture College, Boulder campus in 2019. She is certified as a Diplomate in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine by the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM). She holds a certification in Clean Needle Technique and is fully licensed to perform acupuncture (and related modalities) in the Commonwealth of Virginia. Vivian is a certified massage therapist licensed through the Virginia Board of Nursing. Other degrees include a Master of medical qigong (MMQ) and a Doctorate in biomedical research (PhD).

Vivian’s clinical specialties are pain management (acute and chronic), gynecological and hormonal conditions, mood disorders, digestive ailments and allergies (Soliman Auricular Allergy Treatment). Her professional, holistic approach is tailored to the specific needs of her patients.
